Restaurants

If you select Restaurants, the LCD

will flash “FODOR’S” for one sec-

ond. The LCD then displays the

following (NOTE: $ = INEXPEN-

SIVE, $$ = MODERATE, $$$ =

EXPENSIVE, $$$$ = VERY EXPEN-

SIVE, $$$$$ = LUXURY):

Not all the price ranges (the $

signs) may show for a particular

destination. Selecting Ove rv i ew

will display four lines of text on

the LCD, and you can navigate

through the text by the UP and

DOWN buttons. Press the BACK

button to return to the previous

screen.

Selecting one of the $ categories

will display the first four lines of

t ext of the first restaurant.

Pressing UP and DOWN will dis-

play either the next or previous

four lines of text. Pressing the

NEXT button will display the next

restaurant’s information, if avail-

able, while the PREVIOUS button

will display the last restaurant’s

information. Press the BACK but-

ton to return to the prev i o u s

screen. Press BACK for two sec-

onds to return to the home screen.

Shopping

If you selected Shopping, the LCD

will display the following (listings

with no available data will not

display):

OVERVIEW

SHOPPING CENTERS

DEPARTMENT STORES

LOCAL SPECIALTIES

AREAS

SOUVENIRS

Selecting the Overview will dis-

play four lines of text on the LCD,

and you can navigate through the

text with the UP and DOWN but-

tons. Press the BACK button to

return to the previous screen.

Selecting one of the other cate-

gories will display the first four

lines of text of the selected cate-

gory. Pressing UP and DOWN will

display either the next or previous

four lines of text. Pressing the
